AMERICAN CRUSADER
Jeff Wilkins, a rural Pennsylvanian, craved adventure beyond his small town. Excelling in the Army, he became a highly decorated officer. General Brown noticed his dedication and offered him a life-altering experiment as part of the "Freedom Force" program: to replicate the atomic-powered abilities of the original 1940's super hero the original American Crusader. Succeeding, Wilkins leads the Liberty Legion alongside other gifted individuals.
As the American Crusader, he wields superhuman strength, durability, and Mach 5 flight capabilities. While proud to represent his country, Wilkins grapples with the implications of his role as a symbol. Command weighs heavily on him, and he maintains constant vigilance to prevent unintended harm. The American Crusader's journey is a dual battle – against external threats and the internal struggle for identity and purpose in a world demanding heroism and introspection.
